Thanks you sooooo much for visiting my site! I'm really excited to provide makeup and hair services to Greenville, SC, and the surrounding areas.

I'm Latia Curtis -- better known as Latia Curtis Makeup + Hair. I absolutely LOVE everything about makeup and hair design, as well as film, photo,  and commercial work! There is absolutely nothing like being on set, collaborating with other departments, reading a script, making breakdowns, designing a character's aesthetic and bringing it to life. I especially love working closely with Directors of Photography and the Camera Department to learn their lighting setup, so I can adjust my application accordingly. My experience as a Production Assistant on larger budget projects and a Producer/Casting Director for regional projects gives me special insight into how a film set works and how all teams, above and below the line, collaborate to produce a successful project. 

I've been a freelance makeup artist for more than 10 years now, having gone full time professional to focus exclusively on my craft about 5 years ago. My interest in makeup began as a youth, participating in my local youth theater. While I lacked the skill and memory to act, I found myself cast in smaller, supporting roles and spending many hours backstage, killing time in the Makeup and Hair room. There, I witnessed the transformation of the actors and was hooked. Couple that with my love of literature and life experiences and voila! I'm pursuing my life's passion as a professional makeup artist and hair stylist. I take great pride in being considered one of the top "Multi Media Makeup Artists" in the Carolinas and cannot wait to bring my skills to your set!

In addition to makeup and hair for commercial, film, and photo projects I also provide one on one makeup lessons and am proud to be a Beauty Guide for Limelight By Alcone.
